It continues to be moving. I really like the convoluted story-telling style. This ep bridges the 3 yr span that occurred between Ep 2-3. Now we know what happened. Mitsuki abandoned her dreams, Takayuki forsook his life. This turned my impression of Takayuki around as I had first thought him to be rather 'heartless' not to be visiting Haruka after the 3 yrs and to be with Mitsuki on top of that. But this ep clears the air about Takayuki's real kimochi for Haruka. I wouldn't say succumbing to Mitsuki's seduction/confession to be a particularly faithful act (to Haruka). but being a guy, I fully understand his weakness. After all Mitsuki really did a lot for him and it was actually Mitsuki would breathed a new lease of life into Takayuki. We also see Takayuki's devotion/guilt to/for Haruka during the first year after the accident. It was intense, unforgiving and self-destructive. We learn why Takayuki stopped visiting and the root of Akane's animosity towards Mitsuki is also explained. Wow, this ep is filled with character and plot development despite being seemingly like a recap episode. Excellent story telling. I wonder if this series would turn out even better if it made into a live action drama.
