Nemu is sooooo kawaii!!!! But I have an issue with Nemu and her 'bro'. Yeah they may not be blood-related but as zyl puts it, it's still so lame! They want to get lovey dovey but conveniently say "we're siblings!" when the need arises. This feels soooo Onegai Twins! *Gasp! Is that why I like this series?!?! Nooo!!! Another unwanted legacy from Onegai?* Although it's still to early to decide at ep 6 but already I can see some serious plot/character development flaws. Too many developments are not credible even by anime standards. Watching Da Capo is like playing a dating sim, the girls like you for unknown reasons and they just keep throwing themselves at you for the smallest things you do for them. Ah well, this is based on a H-game anyway, I should have expected as much. But I'm sooo glad they didn't use it as an excuse for turning this into another Najica Blitz Tactics (which broke the world record for no. of panty shots shown per frame) I just hope they tone down the moaning. (For goodness sake, he's just giving you a massage!)

Da Capo tries to reach the wider audience by having all kinds of love interests. We have sis-con, neko no mimi (cat's ears), maid-san and a somewhat cute and clueless robot. A little like Chii (Chobits) but nowhere as cute. She also needs a little winding up (like Ifureta of El Hazard?). The winding up scene was lovingly set up for another moaning sequence. *Buries face in hands* Oh I forgot another class of love interest.. anyone played by Horie Yui.. (Go go Yuirin!). They casted a sky-net (tian1 luo2 di4 wang3) and they snared me with Nemu. Yeah the anime is probably mediocre but I love it!
