Daphne in the brilliant blue 06

Ah finally! My first ep of Daphne in March despite it being the anime of the month. I understand the subber from Lunar was having the EVIL EVIL midterms. *Yeah, the torment of exams is still very fresh in my mind, I empathise with the pain.*)

Anyhowz, back to Daphne. Maia continues to be the bungling operative in Neres and we get to see how she builds rapport with Yuu and Gloria. I'm sure under their combined mentorship, Maia will become highly skilled in firearms and unarmed combat in no time... that is if she survives the 'training' ordeal. However, I suspect that if she does survive, she would have developed the mental fortitude/psychological profile of a serial killer.

Overall, it was a very entertaining ep where much enjoyment was derived from Yuu/Gloria bickerings and the comical Maia being caught in the storm of things. Some very small plot movement to hint Maia's rightful place in Neres rather than the Ocean Agency. Still no word of who/what is Daphne and very little on the world this series is set in. We do know that food is scarce, hence crimes associated with crops bear heavy penalties.

I just wonder if they going to stay micro or go macro for this series.
