Kudos to Kyoto Animation making one of the most memorable anime moments for me. Really, this has to be one of the most outstanding anime scenes I've seen. Beginning with Misuzu's rejection of Keisuke, the scene builds on its emotional potency by holding back the background music and unleashing Misuzu's torrential tears. Her muted cries only heightens the poignancy as she desperately yells for Haruko. And very suddenly, a crescendo is hit when Misuzu's 'Mama' is hurled at our hearts and the emotional tension explodes with the soulful accompaniment of "Aozora". My heart was locked in an unseen embrace with Misuzu/Haruko and wept as they did. (The eyes did a lesser exercise ) Truly it's unforgettable moments like this that makes AIR exceptional. I wanna play the game......
