I can't quite comprehend how any girl can rejoice when she's been conferred harem status. (See Nerine/Sia/Kaede's reaction.) I don't know how it's like for most females but if my other half hears she's part of the greater "koibito-tachi" entity, my fate will be worse than Nerine's handiwork.... Anyway I digress. Ep 6 is a celebration of lolicon centres on Primula and we are reminded why SSS/RRR/KKK make Tsuchimi Rin's destruction their main aim in life.

Once again we are treated with a teaser of Primula's backstory. Personally of all the girls' stories, Primula's is the most intriguing since it promises to be the most angsty (hints from ED). Given her test-tube birth (as shown in the OP), her fate could possibly be linked to the god/demon worlds' research on resurrection since the sensei was so conveniently droning on about it when Rin's thoughts drifted to Primula in this ep. Primula's mysterious origin deepens as we are brought to attention an engimatic character in her past whom she received the stuff-neko from. I wonder if Enigma-san is related to Nerine.

Btw I love Primula's theme.

    nope not really the most angsty… i think in the game all the girls story are pretty angst hehehe…

    anyway gd news stripey: primura does call u oniichan in the game… (with a perfect siscon voice too muahahahha)

    I think I know just the person to kill for giving me a sis-con rep. :P Well, being fellow countryman, we both know that anything that begins with loli (including loli-siscon which is what Primula in the game) is a slippery path that can ultimately lead to caning. I’m not so keen to have my namesake describe my bottom :P

    And for once I will speak up for you, haha! After reading that last line of your comment, looks like you’re only using Asa-chan as a cover for, well, other interests. But I’ve personally witnessed you raving about Asa-chan so I will vouch that you are a true Ai Ai Asa member.

    Asa chan’s storyline in the game is pretty good… although i am tempted to spoil u guys but oh well hahaha i’ll rather u wait and play to find out…. all in all i would say the fun and playful Asa u see now is just a cover up to hide her true feelings…

    offtopic: there isn’t really anything wrong with being siscon or lolicon… besides i am sure every guy has something that turns him on hahaha… :D

    cyw1988: looking forward to Asa’s story! Thanks for not spoiling it for us. :) As with all HGTA series, I’m just hoping the anime would be faithful to the essence of the game although it would probably have to compromise certain aspects for the series to flow more fluidly since we are juggling with so many girls instead of focusing on just one.

    finally i completed 2 pathways in Tick Tack and i think the game sux… maybe ocz of the fact i am not a Nerine fan and the two endings are purely Nerine even if u took the path of another girl in the game >.

    One thing you may have missed concerning the “harem status” is that in Nerine and Sia’s realm, polygamy is a given. Sia’s fantasy post-wedding dream included Nerine and Kaede at their fantasy house and Nerine had picked up a matching shirt for a threesome “twin look” (which blew Itsuki’s mind). I honestly think Kaede would be fine with a polygamous outcome as long as she wasn’t left out as she seems to really like Nerine and Sia.

    That said, I’m not sure our intrepid producers are brave enough to go for a polygamous solution. More likely (and Rin has basically stated this), he’s going to defer choosing *anything* until his schooling is complete. So we may be subjected to a second season or more likely, a string of OVAs after this season ends on an open note.

    sorry for the delayed response.. just glad my blog has yet to be covered in mold. :P

    cyw1988: From what I glean of Tick Tack it seems to be Nerine centric. While I’m not exactly a Nerine fan, I personally think she has one of the better (physical) character designs in Shuffle. :) I would like a Asa-chan game spin-off though. :)

    Crimson: haha actually it took me a while to figure out wat Mami was saying.. I’m not sure if you want to know…. :P

    Vexx: woah thx for that info! if polygamy is the norm in God/Demon world, it certainly changes the dynamics of Shuffle! :) I’m not so hot for a second season (after the dismal DCSS) or OVAs and would opt for a polygamous finale even though that is not optimal for any harem series since it would nerf the dramatic impact of having the harem girls fight tooth/claw for Rin. I’m hoping for closure but totally clueless on how the series would turn out. I guess that’s keeping me on the series :)

    “Live chat. Amateur live chat. Free live chat. Moe live chat. Amateur moe.” This is comment spam from a ‘blog’ that directs traffic to Jp live chat pr0n sites. Just like those kinds of comments left by spambots: “Hi, your blog is awesome. Link to some dubious marketing website or blog blah blah.”

    The implication is that Hontou ni Taihen desu has a sufficiently high Jp readership to attract Jp comment spam. Thus my envy. ^_^

    crimson: ahhhh there’s a time for WOW and it’s called unearthly hours. Naturally I’ven’t been sleeping well/much for the past months. Man, Blizzard really ruined my life… :P
