Fate/Stay Night 7

Another slow episode. But I did enjoy it very much. Partly because I've moderated the expectations of a fast-paced, action-packed series that I got from the curtain raiser. But mostly because the breakfast scene with Angry Saber pigging out, the tension in Shirou's Harem and plenty of Rin strutting her tsunderekko stuff. Oooh yeah, I particularly liked that last aspect. Rin is great fun to watch and oh sooo charismatic. She even handles Saber better than Shirou. Rin x Saber 4tw! :3

Sakura jealousy was cute as well though the tension between her and Sakura (not the romantic rivalry thing) has an ominous vibe to it, possible indication of an element from Heaven's Feel? Ok I won't say anymore about game-based spoilers.

Garten's humourous titles for his screencaps 4tw! Screencapping in general 4tw! I wouldn't have noticed the speed lines as Taiga-nee grapped the almost empty nattou bowl. LOL I still get Shigure Asa vibes when Taiga-nee is speaking in her "I'm your guardian" voice but Miki Itou really manages to render Taiga-nee as a unique character when she's wailing or otherwise despondent. And she makes it sound so funny and adorable too! ♥

I also have to thank Sakura for her cooking. Just tried one of her dishes - a nimono of radish and other vegs slow cooked in a chicken stock with mirin and soy sauce. Sometimes anime gives me new recipe ideas e.g. mixing steamed chopped ladyfingers / okra with nattou (and a dash of English mustard). Mmmmm... nattou...
