WarHaruhi 40,000

It is the 41st millennium. For more than a hundred centuries
the Emperor has sat immobile on the Golden Throne of Otaku.
She is the master of otakukind by the will of KyoAni, and the master
of a million blogs by the might of her inexhaustible fan armies. She
is a plotting character writhing invisibly with power from the Dark
Age of Technology. She is the Carry-on Lord of the Imperium for
whom a thousand wallets are sacrificed every day, so that She may
never truly die.

Yet even in Her deathless state, the Emperor continues Her
eternal vigilance. Mighty battlefleets cross the boredom-infested
miasma of the Warped, the only route between distant stars, their
way lit by the Astronomican, the psychic manifestation of the
Emperor’s will. Vast fan armies give battle in Her name on uncounted
worlds. Greatest amongst Her soldiers are the Adeptus Asahina,
the Space Moérines, time-travelling super-cosplayers. Their comrades
in arms are legion: the SOS Brigades and countless planetary
defence forces, the ever-vigilant esper Organization of the Inquisition and
the tech-priests of the Integrated Data Sentient Entity to name only a few.
But for all their multitudes, they are barely enough to hold off the ever
present threat from haters, heretics, Lovely Idol fans - and worse.

To be a fan in such times is to be one amongst untold
billions. It is to live in the cruellest and most capricious
regime imaginable. There are the tales of those times.
Forget the power of technology and science, for so much has
been innovated, only to be used for fapping. Forget the promise of
progress and understanding, for in the grim dark future
there is only war. There is no peace amongst the interwebs,
only an eternity of carnage and slaughter, and the
laughter of thirsting merchandisers.

    Ah, amusing.

    My only gripe is that, and I’m pretty sure this should be obvious, Haruhi > The Immortal God Emperor of Mankind by orders of magnitude. Just by definition of who Haruhi *is*, and not just in terms of personal opinion.

    But speaking of opinion:

    SOS-Dan > Adeptus Astartes, and even the Adeptus Custodes.

    By orders of magnitude.

    wontaek, re: supply of food – there are agri-worlds; for industrial machinery and other goods, either Adeptus Mechanicus Forge Worlds or manufacturing Hive Worlds: Planets of WH40K.
