Wikipedia. I love its convenience but, when it comes to citations, I also obey the convention that a primary source (Viz Media) is more authoritative than a secondary one (Wikipedia article) and therefore the former should be cited over the latter. [/pedantic]

Lucky vs Unlucky. I was thinking that there was lots of irony, fortune in misfortune. Family was eaten but he was saved, thrown out but rescued. I suppose if he ever wishes that he was eaten instead of saved then we'd have another dimension there. Thanks for keeping things spoiler-free, guys!

Claymore's manga has been licensed by Viz Media, and the Wiki article took its information from there? I'd have to say that's pretty much as accurate as you can get.

Calling him "Lucky" would be a cruel cruel joke. I mean, if you thought that having your family eaten by Yoma and then getting tossed out to die was kinda unfortunate, just wait to see how "lucky" he'll be in the future ^_^;

Nope, can't be "Lucky". That would just be sick.
