So you think you know seifuku II

After the gothloli/sweet loli/meido costume, the seifuku has to be the outfit of choice for 2D bishoujos. Frankly I'd love to see them on 3D girls too except that few RL girls have the looks/proportions/personality to properly carry off such flamboyant fashion. Anyhow, to propagate the passion, here's a little quiz - How many seifukus (below) do you recognise?




This quiz is harder than the first since several of the seifuku are from really obscure series. Credits to Cospatio for spinning such lovely threads and fulfilling the cosplay passion.

    i only recognize 6 of the 15 in my first try.

    on the other hand Momo has a score of 13/15.

    I wonder what that says about the 2 of us :D

    The last one kinda reminds me of Hinako’s seifuku from Myself; Yourself but I know that is wrong.

    My first guess for #3 was Rena Ryugu (Higurashi). Am I wrong (since she’s the only one in the series wearing that seifuku), or is it a possible alternative answer?

    holyman282: There’s even more elaborate ones like the Chevalier ballroom outfit. I think it’s possible to walk into 17th century France and pose as royalty with it XD

    DKellis: Knowing you are a HUGE CCS fan, I think we all understand. I personally want Sakura as a daughter myself XD

    Vesper: Actually it’s a Lucky Star outfit :) The only Higurashi cosplay on the site was the Angel Mort one.

    If I ever saw Aya Hirano in the school uniforms from Haruhi I’d probably die, but then again…the feel isn’t right. I’d probably stab myself a few times than see a 3d girl wear those outside of a convention or anime-related gathering….its just….not right.

    you pple are amazing. My mind doesnt ring off any titles when i look at these uniforms though I watched most animes mentioned.
    I guess its easier for me to recall the D! or C in animes, lolol.

    Caught them all except 2, 8, and 15. Though 15 I could semi recognize I couldn’t name the series so, fail. Too lazy as usual to give out series names, but to met he one’s are easy to recognize cause I’ve seen all those 13? series. Except for Mahoraba, but I can just recognize the uniform. ~~~

    Darkdragon500: I’ve seen really cute RL girls in fancy anime seifuku. They can be carried off but somehow better by Japanese girls themselve. Could be cultural indoctrination on my part :P
