I love the design of Wilhemina's cup - it's a list of fish names that have the character for fish (?) incorporated into the kanji. Not an uncommon sight on posters, banners, door screens made of cloth hanging from the top and divided in half (what are they called?) and, of course, tea cups. [Add, for example:]

??(buri) yellowtail; ??(ebi) prawn; (katsuo) skipjack; ? (koi) carp
??(unagi) eel; ??(sake) salmon; ??(maguro) tuna; ??(kujira) whale

Hmmm... Can't seem to get my language bar to produce some of the characters.

Most people use them to look up on their ex's. Anyhows I was just fantasizing that Phellis was an old ex of Wilhelmina's or something but unfortunately I don't think that's true.
