du5k, actually I think that comparing Minami Ke and Ichigo Mashimaro is like comparing Azumanga and Lucky Star i.e. there are some comparable similarities but the series are more different than similar, each with their own distinct world views and thus mixes of strengths and weaknesses. I understand why some find Kana more lovable than Miu but IMHO Kana&#039;s antics come a genuine dumbness while Miu&#039;s much wittier antics come from a refusal to conform; I happen to prefer the latter type of characterization.
