Shakugan no Shana Second 14

Alas no flashback of Wirhelmina's history with Pheles or much more Wirhelmina tenderness to Pheles. But the twist at the end of the episode was a welcome surprise and I look forward to some FAINARU ANSWER in the coming episodes!
For summaries, see Aroduc and Omni.

Pheles belittling Yoshida, asking why a mere human was there, certainly rubbed salt into the wound - recalling how Yoshida didn't and couldn't do anything all of last episode except to be a flower vase. That should have also applied to Eita and Satou but I guess they're not part of Yuuji's harem so there's no need to give them more screentime.
So it's time for Yoshida to call out Raising Heart again!

"Dr Freud would have a field day with this!!"

"Warning: Extended use of Raising Heart will make you attracted to other girls as well as being incredibly attractive to other girls, particularly if they are blonde, twintailed, abused by mom etc." Always read the warning label, childrens.
So after joining the mile high club with Shana, Yoshida asks Pheles out on a date! With Shana in tow. A Yoshida Kazumi harem in the making! *insert Wirhelmina-tan hiding behind 'Reserved for Yoshida' lamp post* W: Zettai korosu de arimasu! T: Kawasumi Ayako.

I felt a great doumusturbance in the Anime Force, as if millions of Fap Fap Feena members cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced... Well, it wasn't a crucial scene and it didn't run into the close ups. Hope we won't be getting too much of these quality dips though.

Ok, I knew from the first season why time is an important factor, as Torches go out when their Power of Existence runs out; although Yuuji is kept alive (or should I say, in existence) only by the Reiji Maigo, he is on borrowed time as well as being frozen in time.
Given how Wirhelmina had talked about them as the eternal lovers, as the Engage Link etc etc., I didn't expect to get such bad vibes from the Pheles x Johan flashback. It just disturbed me to find out that it was Johan's idea to turn into a Torch, have Pheles make the Reiji Maigo for him, so that he could be with her forever. He sounded somewhat self-absorbed, rather too forceful, and too glib with Pheles (All I want for Christmas~ Is You~~) but it could just be my imagination.
The other Bad Feeling I got from the context was the Mardi Gras-like festival with all the masked participants - a festival which is also known as the Bal Masqué... I've always wondered why Bel Peol, Sydonay and Hecate's collective went by that name. Have they been planning this right from the start?

Well, it was a nice try, Yoshida Kazumi but it seems to have just the opposite effect.

So the Silver *hint hint* Chain Bracelets of Foreboding are finally activated and Hecate in the Konoe Shell looks set to awaken. Looking forward to see what Bel Peol's plan was - Fecor who was reporting to her at the end of ep 3 appears in the preview. And the connection to the Silver now that its arm has made its appearance.

I wanted to see Pheles slobber all over Yuuji when sucking off his existance, but alas we didn’t quite get that. But Shana reaction to Pheles and Yuuji inside the circle was good too

we can pretty much guess u know who besides Johan is inside Yuuji.
So I wonder if they will have Hecate calls Yuuji/silver Oniichan and if a certain stripe Tanuki could take that kind of excitment.

I think that if you’re expecting any “final answers” from this series you’re going to be sorely disappointed. I don’t think the Mangaka has an overall story to tell.
This thing reeks (or leaks) “perpetual franchise”, telling story after story which never really cause any progression in a series level plot arc — because there isn’t any series level plot arc.

Steven Den Beste: The series is based on light novels, and it’s been hinted that the last book is on the horizon since, y’know… ▼ Show

Ack! The spoiler tag didn’t work. >_< Sorry about that.

ah,
So Hecate will call Yuuji Oniichan

Steven Den Beste, I’m not expecting that much… basically what I want to know is what’s the relationship between Silver and the Reiji Maigo, what’s Konoe’s role in this whole thing and what the Bal Masque is up to next. Based on what Myssa Rei has said in her comment (spoiler tag fixed), I think the answers to the above questions will be forthcoming.

*groans*
Zyl, shoot me now, please, before I start spoiling more stuff. Don’t the tags on the message editor work or something? x_x

Myssa Rei,
Fixed. I’m very curious about what went wrong and if this is a more widespread problem. I’ve tested the spoiler tags on two different machines on Vista and XP as well as two different browsers (IE 6 and Firefox 2) in admin-logged-in and non-admin modes… *scratches head*
The spoiler has to be enclosed like this:
<spoiler>
this is the spoiler text</spoiler>
Did anyone else encounter a problem with the spoiler tags too?

Ahahahahahaha so I wasn’t the only one who noticed that Kazumi stole Nanoha’s necklace! Give it back!!!!
Also, seeing that cheezy horned baddie come back makes me laugh.

I need to see this one subbed. I finally got around to watching episode 13, so I’m hooked. Someone refresh my memory though… did Hecate ever sense anything about Yuji when they shared those intimate moaning moments in the first season? You think with all the stuff contain within Reiji Maigo, she would have detected something.

Zyl: Actually, I just clicked on the spoiler tag, then clicked on it again afterwards (so it would show up as ), but as soon as the message posted, well, the info wasn’t hidden.
Do take note that I was posting from work, so that might have contributed to the mess-up.
Anyway, I’ll shut up about the spoilers. x_x

Myssa Rei, I’ve FINALLY figured out the problem with Stripey’s invaluable assistance. And it was my fault. Mea culpa. So sorry!
I could use the pointy bracketed spoiler tags because I’m the admin but the kses.php disallows it for others. So… I’ve implemented the Kabitzin solution, taking advantage of Simple Spoiler 1.6′s functionality to use square brackets. Have amended the quicktags accordingly too.

Just watched ep 14 subbed…wow, after 12 episodes where I’m not sure anything happened, the last two have been epic. At this point I’d be happy if from Shana II we just get Shana’s kokuhaku to Yuuji–of course we already got it at the end of season one, but then we got the lame “oh, I didn’t hear what you said” reset *bangs head into wall*.
