[Artbook] Kirakira Reki ~ Mikeou artworks

If Tinker defines moelicious, then Mikeou's artwork must be the highest embodiment of all that is babelicious. Mikeou's girls are made the sweetest sugar and hottest spice that you wouldn't want to see in a RL 16 year old. (Not unless you live in Sweden.) For examples of Mikeou's work, check out Hemisphere's 4 part tribute to 2 of Marmalade's eroges, Lyrical Lyrics and Miraroma which contain Mikeou's work.
And now there's a way possess Mikeou's artwork without having to smuggle 18+ only contraband into your household; Mikeou latest artbook - Kirakira Reki (Shining calendar). This glorious 127 page of full-coloured bishoujo goodness is presented in 2 segments - Seasons and Features. The Seasons segment is further divided into Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring featuring Mikeou's bishoujos in various states of undress seasonal outfits. The Features include his work in various eroges like Lyrical Lyric, Miraroma, Festa!! Hyper girls' pop and apparently a manga collaboration with Takahashi Haruka. Do note that the 1st segment far outweighs the 2nd portion though it's all unadulterated bishoujo indulgence.
Mere words cannot describe the rapturous beauty found in this collection so here's some pictures, its glory deliberately attenuated by my poor photography to prevent blindness.

Just to highlight there are copious panty flashes and a couple of nip-slips but nothing raunchy at all. If the local Kinokuniya could bring it in within days of my ordering, it must be considered wholesome. Highly recommended for any connoisseur of 2D bishoujos.

Is it just my imagination or do these girls look a lot like the ones in D.C. and Canvas2?

good lord….. and the silly part was that it was about 15 seconds before I noticed the panty shot on the girl with the green meido because I was fixated by the hairbows…. ooh for twin tails. yeah.. there’s a definite Canvas 2 art style here.

Hemisphere: LOL! I get moe-overdose everytime I flip through this gem too… mou dame… XD
dsong/vexx: Hmm now that you mentioned it there is a slight touch of Nanao Naru there. DC and Canvas2′s artist is Nanao Naru who also has her own artbook.

Odd…@_@ Am I the only one who thinks that mikeou’s style is much more comparable to Mitha’s than with Naru Nanao’s? T____T

I sooo wanted to buy Mikeou Artbooks when I was in Japan, however I had to prioritize my money and I chose to go with Naru Nanao’s artbooks instead. I’m currently more into Ikegami Akane (Akane Makes Revolution – AMR) art for now though.

Hemisphere: Mitha, Yukiusagi, Nanao Naru, Mikeou, Ikegami Akane all render bishoujo in the highest forms with some similarities, I thought.
Hirito: I just saw your Japan haul… *Prostrates* XD
Zeroblade: Get it while stock lasts!
