   Ah, Da Capo 22…I just re-watched that a little while ago, that was the most tear-jerking moment in the whole series for me. I probably shouldn’t have re-watched it so close to watching DC II SS though, because I’m afraid FEEL’s not going to be able to pull the drama off quite as well, but I’m waiting on the avi for DC II SS ep 10 so we’ll see soon…

   I can’t speak on many of these, but I can definitely see why your choice from Macross Zero would make a great rewatch, though I only saw said OVA for the first time a few weeks back (thankfully before Frontier 10) – in fact, I’ve a sudden urge to go back and watch that now . . .

   Picking up on memorable music, do you find that you can recall the scene itself when you remember (or whistle aloud?) the accompanying tune?

    Skane: The Nanoha As scene is my 2nd most rewatched of my DVDs The FMF ep is priceless! Especially for folks who have gone to military training XD

    Kanon_fan82: I personally thought Asuka in the final scenes of Death/Rebirth was awesome.

    jpmeyer: Your MH and J2 scenes are my 3rd and 2nd most watched scenes in those series. (Man, I’m actually keeping track). And yes, everything in As is soo good, I have no less than 10 favourite scenes just from the series itself.

    I enjoyed Haruhi too much (who didn’t anyway?) that I rewatched the whole thing for more than 10 times and in consecutive months or weeks. And in AIR ep 12, the Misuzu dying scene was so tear jerking that I rewatched that scene for 4 times with the same effects

    For Haruhi, I mostly rewatched 3 scenes – Concert, Ryoko assault and Galactic battle For AIR it was ep 11, the ‘momma’ scene that I rewatched a lot besides ep 1. But ep 12 was great too.

    AIR episode 11 “Beach” scene and episode 12 “Goal” scene

    Bleach episode 59 – Ichigo vs Byakuya fight (the best episode of Bleach by far)

    Gundam Seed – Kira vs Athrun fight; last few episodes

    School Days final ep – Makoto vs Sekai; Sekai vs Katsura

    Yami to Boushi to Hon no Tabibito episode 7 – …fan-service scenes with Hatsuki…well…yeah…

    Ai Yori Aoshi episode 15 – Kaoru/Aoi love scene

    Ah My Goddess! Season 1 episode 19 – Belldandy/love potion episode

    Zero no Tsukaima season 2 last episode – Saito dying to save Louise. IMO this ending was great until the mood died with Saito telling Louise about the fairy that saved him.
