I too have backburnered or dropped Kurenai. I kept saying I *SHOULD* like this series.... but I keep finding other things to do rather than watch it - even rewatching old favorites. Those symptoms are clues... I'll continue to download it when I've got nothing on queue.... but unsatisfying and "don't care" is the nicest thing I can say after seeing 8 episodes....
