Maybe it's the trance parts that I couldn't get into. Enjoyed the OST mainly for Naoki sensei's works. :) And am very glad I discovered Sprinting Spirits! Ivy: Indeed. Great music can lift a series out of mediocrity to.. well average and make already compelling series immortal XD But a true tragedy occurs when grand music is coupled with unworthy productions. The music in E7 really elevated the show to new heights, without this music's accompaniment it would have turned into an ok (not great) sci-fi show. These dramatic pieces really accentuate those scenes completely engrossing you and enveloping you into the situation. I tend to have a critical eye, but when an average show has great music, I can forgive its missteps...usually (there are exceptions of course). Oh I’m glad you gave it a try! There are some excellent tracks like the ones you highlighted that are broken up by bland fare. The good stuff can be really good, but the rest you just sort of want to skip out on.
