Duclis was one of the chief antagonists and wore the Zanaffa armor but he died before Zanaffar awakened. Pocotta and Taforassia didn't exist at all AFAIK. Zooma was a recurring character in the novels but he was not involved in the Zanaffar plot. In the novels Copy Rezo did not use Zanaffar so this plotline was not repetitive.
