Gah, I didn't actually know the different btw saving a copy of the whole database and an SQL dump. orz Also the jonkenpon link is dead and the Codex link (as well as related WP forum threads) say that the plugin you used has caused corruption of databases post-WP 2.2 plus the plugin hasn't be updated since.
