Zyl: I think FEEL's character designer is a exception. Like Bekkankou (Yoakena's char designer), he should be declared the national treasure of Japan. Not only for DCII, the artwork for Otoboku (another FEEL production) is VASTLY superior for the anime. :)

Xellos-_^: I'll raise them honourable tanukis like the pa and appreciate beauty in a healthy manner :)

0rion: Heh printed material has more staying power somehow. This I learn from having lost a great deal of my digital treasures over the years. As they say - easy come, easy go :P

ETERNAL: I strongly recommend Chronicle. After Tinkle's moonlight tea-party that's be my next best artbook. Mikeou's would be next. I saw Chronicle being sold in Orchard Kino last month (new shipment) you may want to check that out if you still keen. :) You wouldn't regret the buy.

I love artbooks, they're probably among my favourite anime merchandise; images always seem to look better in print.

Also, how many of these have you posted about? I remember stumbling upon a few on google (Tinkle, Mikeou, that YoaRuri book) but many of them look new to me. I've had my eye on that Chronicle book for a while (it's by one of Navel's artists IIRC), but I haven't picked it up yet on account of the fact that I live with my parents...

...Although ironically, if someone "accidentally" picked up one of my SFW moe artbooks, it would probably still look just as inappropriate >_>
