Now now, it's surely not fair to make your very first assertion given that doujin strongholds such as Toranoana, Melonbooks, K-books and Mandarake in Akihabara themselves give such an impression. (Only 10% percent of their doujin floorspace dedicated to non-hentai).

Do check out the latest comiket (C78) offering (VERY NSFW!!) and you'll realise how skewed the publications are towards the hentai component.

I don't blame anyone for being 'misled' into thinking so.

You are all utterly stupid if you think Dōjin/shi or more often doujin/shi means porn, Dojin or Doujin means 'same person' the suffix shi means publication (so the person who made it paid for publishing). These writers/artists often call themselves sākuru (circle), anyway my point being it is a vast genre of which porn has a niche little corner in the same way that art collections, anime and games do. (Preemptive strike) But of course i know the article didn't mean literally... but some of you do!

"Utterly amazing! You spoke so long, but you didn't say anything."

I see you've been keeping up with local new. :) I just read today about how some inmates are going to extend their stay at 'Changi resort' by about 20(?) years for sexually assaulting a fellow inmate. I think even dropping the 'soap' during NS days can be dangerous given how repressed everyone was.
