The Stripey Identity
If you blog in enough detail, even if it's about just about the anime-related part of your life (because we do have lives outside anime fandom, amrite?), it's only a matter of time before someone joins the dots and figures out that that blogger is actually a certain someone they know in RL. I suppose the smallness of our glorious democratic people's republic island paradise helps (or 'does not help' depending on your POV) too.

Location in this yonkoma should get just a little bit more specific if I get the go-ahead to use the relevant banner and avatar.
A bit of explanation for the Sg slang in the fourth panel. To 'go in' is similar to how Americans say 'do time' (i.e. to be detained, held behind bars, do the jailhouse rock etc.) and we normally use that phrase, in National Service context, to refer to servicemen who have been charged and sentenced to imprisonment at the Detention Barracks.

Wow, 3 strips in a month! You are on a roll bro! Good job!
And I really need to apologise if I let the tanuki out of the bag, I assure you it is by accident. I have no grudges against lolicons (in fact I have many friends who are) and I am in no way affiliated to the Mounties. Will keep me flappers shut in the future.
Btw, I know you are doing time, but have you by any chance been visited and let known of “Project Nanoha”?

LOL! No worries Kare-dono. I’m sure many didn’t catch the ‘references’
At least I haven’t been visited by the Mounties yet
Project Nanoha: Operation Fate-chan has been conveyed to Zaku-sama. Pls pray for a successful appeal for his parole. XD

You forgot the hidden fifth panel: DARKNESS.
Aka ‘Stripey gets dragged aside by the propietor, who has some Mounties in the back who were conducting a sting operation….’

Sorry Stripey, it’s every man for himself! *runs and hides from Mounties*

I’m waiting for Stripey to give his treatise on Sengoku Nadeko from Bakemonogatari.
September 16th, 2009 - 10:18
No way that’ll happen – he already died from nosebleeds… or Nauzaron found out about him watching the Nadeko Snake arc with the ‘I always wanted a big brother’ and the ‘help me, onii-chan’ bits on repeat, then… disposed of him and has a new Stripey-skin rug.

Not quite there yet. Have finished Senjougahara chan’s arc and there’s sufficient Senjou love, hence evidence to show I’m not lolicon, bijin-con maybe

The Mounties, eh? Sounds rough ^^;

I never figured that Stripey was a master of disguise, but I guess he’s getting more shameless these days and thus becomes easily recognizable…

Is it just me, or does Stripey kinda look like a Bidoof? xD

I think i saw you at kinokuniya at Taka….
Lol….. Do you even go there ?
December 7th, 2009 - 01:35
LOL! Was just there over the weekend though I’m not sure if it’s me you saw. Could be Dark Stripey
Kino is a must-haunt for every artbook collector. I make my pilgrimage as much as possible especially when there’s a 20% sale for members.
So what could have gave the tanuki away?
