Eva 2.0 weakens that factor since Rei develops a great deal more. Since I'm a strong advocate of 2D bigamy (I'm staunch monogamist in RL though), I'd officially pick both (ie - cheat) as my equal favs in the Eva franchise :) Heh my defense would be that Asuka had a lot more personality compared to Rei in the TV series.
