2009 Moment of Anime 4: Wounds of Time

It was painful for everyone. But I had my hands full with myself. Those two... I had to help my family even if it was painful for me. But I couldn't turn around to face them even once!
My family wasn't bad enough to deserve dying like that. They weren't sinful enough to die like that!
Enjou Tomoe, Kara no Kyoukai 5: Spiral Paradox
In Noir, Mireille observed how the wounded animal is only concerned with its own pain. Pain concentrates the mind but inwards. With time, and it is said that time heals all wounds, one might see and feel for others again. But when time runs out, at the line drawn by death, the living can no longer make amends to, to make things right for the wounded dead and thus their own wounds can only be salved by forgetfulness but never by forgiveness.
Another one for the project.
