[Stripey] Amagami SS starts – The secret character

Apparently she goes "Nii Ni"...

Here’s a oven-fresh excerpt of an update of the current anime scene from fellow bishoujo-comrade, the Ultimate Nanoha Fan in Sg (henceforth known as UNF)…

UNF: Hmm this season ehh..  did you like KimiKiss?

Stripey: (Save for the annoying frogs and the fact that hawt younger sisters weren’t even ‘considered’) Oh yes, very much.

UNF: Then you have to watch Amagami SS. 6 girls, 24 episodes. They complete the arc for each girl in 4 episodes and restart again.

Stripey: Oooh interesting. Any hawt imoutos?

UNF: Ahh the sister…. she’s the secret character.

Stripey: The what?

UNF: Well, in the game (Amagami), after you complete pursuing all 6 girls, you then unlock the path to ‘your’ sister arc…

Stripey: (What an ENLIGHTENED game!! Forsakes the boring old harem end for a SECRET sister route!?! Taaaaanukisssss SALUTE!!)

UNF: But the anime has only 24 epsiodes….

Stripey: An Amagami OVA is in order then!!! Now how many eps of Amagami SS did you say you already have….?

For the sake of the Hontouni wars, I hope imouto-chan gets her very own arc. Now to dig into episode one….

Addendum: Apparently, there ARE OVAs planned but NO imouto arc…. ARRGGGHHH!!  Also finally managed to put a name to imouto-san – Tachibana Miya... Hmm short haired girls aren't quite tanuki's type but hey jealous younger sisters are always love!!

    Wow I had not heard that about the game. Truly, a perfect game if there ever was one.

    Hmm short haired girls aren’t quite tanuki’s type but hey jealous younger sisters are always love!!

    Should I be amazed or terrified at how alike we are? I’m starting to seriously consider that I might have a long lost brother…

    Back in the first arc, I held on to hope that Miya would come into the picture in a more meaningful manner, but alas, it was apparently not meant to be. However, I’m surprised you weren’t right in the thick of things with this one, my friend. A chance to see every bishoujo’s heart won, to see every bishoujo given the proper level of love and attention is not something I think a tanuki like yourself should miss out on. It’s only a shame that each of these bishoujos is not given a bit more time to shine.

    I will keep hope that the makers of Amagami will see it in their infinite wisdom to bestow upon us the secret, and best, route: IMOUTO~

      I understand tanuki and cat were once family XD We bishoujo-imouto loving beasts brethren need to band together in this fallen 2D world where much prejudice rages against all that is lolicious and moelicious. XD

      A chance to see every bishoujo’s heart won, to see every bishoujo given the proper level of love and attention is not something I think a tanuki like yourself should miss out on

      Quoted for truth!! :) Haven’t had the chance to start on Amagami though… was distracted by Legend of the Legendary heroes…. Should be able to bask in Miya’s imouto glory in this weekend.

    Beyond the 6 arcs and the bonus content for people who collect the DVDs/BDs, there are also two additional episodes that will be featured on the 13th DVD/BD volume (and possibly shown on TV as well — not clear yet). The content of these two episodes has been kept a secret, but they recently revealed that they’re working on something for one of the other secret characters in the game. Remains to be seen whether this will be both of the extra episodes, or only one.

    So all that to say, a Miya episode/OVA could still happen even in what they’ve already announced. Time will tell…

    Kana Asumi is pretty amazing as Miya – she does credit to the Imouto heresy. *scribbles* Note to postpone Stripey being burnt at the stake to another day

      Oh yes, I heard from UNF that she does fantastic voice-work. And the clip from Nosgoroth attest to that. :) Can’t wait to dive into the series.

    Miya is not a secret character, SHE IS THE HIDDEN BOSS CHARACTER…

    Unfortunately, Miya is not the secret character, it’s a different girl ^_^;
