The ever popular Asuka and Rei combi - this race queen version doesn't even appear in the TV series or movies!

Just look at the number of camera lenses pointed at them...

Mikoto and MISAKA Imouto - I just *had* to get them to pose together and was gratified that both were very receptive and sporting; loved how the MISAKA cosplayer always addressed the Mikoto cosplayer as "Oneesama"

Menma and Poppo from Ano Hana

Somehow Ano Hana just rubbed me the wrong way so I never got past Ep 5. Apparently I'm not the only one. Maybe one day I'll give it another go someday when my default emotional state is less foul.

I know next to nothing about Touhou except it's a bottomless swamp; this is Sakuya Izayou I presume?

Speaking of bottomless swamps, I've lost count of the times there's a Madoka cosplayer in the background of my photos LOL

I sense a disturbance in the Yuri Force...

Summary:

There has been an escalation of attacks by members of the esper-hunting organization Skillout especially the Big Spider group - the case of Mitsuki Kongou, in particular, riled up Oneesama that she dragged me into hot headed pursuit of a lead in Strange. Where my Judgment armband attracted some unwelcome attention because Oneesama was oh so forceful with me. But a milk-drinking, black leather jacket wearing young man intervened, filled us in some of the history and the feelings underlying Skillout and even gained Oneesama's attention but only in passing, of course.

After catching some Big Spider thugs roughing up an esper, we headed straight for their lair and attempted to arrest their leader. But their awfully tacky audio setup wasn't just for overly loud music but a system, Capacity Down, that interfered with our ability to use our Abilities and my chance to show Oneesama my capabilities - unforgivable! Above-mentioned man reappeared after the Big Spider leader, now known as Hebitani, fled - it seems that Konori-senpai and the reappeared Kurozuma-san share some history together.

Re-Reaction:

Dav noted how Big Spider had equipment that the Anti-Skill should have. Which leads back to my previous suspicion that, given the otherwise strict control on the ingress and egress of such technology across Academy City boundaries, Skillout may have a backer in the higher ups. Which would also be entirely consistent with what happened during the Level Upper case. (Also check out Dav's entry for the summary of Radio no Railgun interview with Satomi Arai.)

And, like Dav, Divine looks forward to how this arc will give more, much-deserved development of Konori-senpai's character and particularly liked the contrast between Saten and the Skillouts. Gene has a perfectly good point that the Level 0 angst and rage against us of Level natural numbers can get just somewhat tiring and Kurozuma-san's take on this may refresh the issue.

Hanners proves that time and repetition are my allies - surely everyone will come to support my love for Oneesama and our eventual mutual love! And FlareKnight perceptively appreciates how I act as Oneesama's shield.

Just like this backlog...

Summary:

It's a day off and I was trying to persuade Oneesama to go on a romantic movie date but she insisted on Seventh Mist all the while denying she really wanted to see the Gekota mascot show there. Uiharu was late but was without her shadow Saten-san who had been summoned for a special lesson.

From what I gathered later, she thought the lectures and physical training were punishment for the gathered Level Upper users. But it turned into a much more positive experience - Komori-sensei and Yomikawa-sensei were getting them to draw on their experience with the Level Upper to push their boundaries in their Ability Development. Saten-san was still a Level Zero at the end of it but seems to have come to terms with her guilt. Infuriatingly, after our long wait for her to finish her lessons, she suggested going to the pool instead of the movies!

Reaction:

In addition to what Dav has already said about this episode, I would just like to add: Saten-san - still such a sinful woman! I wonder how Jufuku-san would react if she knows that object of her affections has set her sights squarely on someone else.
