Megami Magazine Memorial Book (2006-8)
2006 (glaring typo!) would be the Year of the Tanuki with the airing of AIR TV and movie (pun unintended, it's the Kabitzin Geass, I swear!), Nanoha A's, Zero no Tsukaima, Canvas2 and SHUFFLE! Though ToHeart2 and D.C.S.S. were, particularly the latter, sources of disappointment and unsatisfaction respectively.
Megami Magazine Memorial Book (2002-5)
2002 was memorable for the lovely Ai Yori Aoshi and I tended to think of it as the Anti-Love Hina.
Megami Magazine Memorial Book (1999-2001)
Bought a copy of this evil magazine after a long break mainly because I wanted to find out more about the new Nanoha movie. But, alas, it seems to be an alternative history rather than animating the A's to StrikerS era. Expect disappointment, no doubt.
I'll leave the review of this 100th issue and its posters to Shingo (though his latest Megami magazine review, at the time of this post, is for Megami 98, I'm sure the backlog will be vanquished in no time!). This post focuses on the Memorial Book; it's a nice summary of the beautiful girl anime series that Megami magazine has been big on from 1999 (the birth of the genre?) to the present.
How much is that MEGAMI in the window?

I've moaned before about how London's Forbidden Planet and Japan Centre doesn't seem to stock MEGAMI. But I happened to see that evil magazine in the display window of Orbital Comic's Moor Street branch. And the price was just shinjirarenai.
Evil I tells you or Oops Megami does it again

I saw the above poster via Kurogane and one of my sensei-level commenters, Shinzantetsu, also kindly put a link to a much higher resolution scan. *wipes nosebleed* I struggled mightily with temptation and, with the added whammy of the Kagamin x Konata wedding picture, dealt with it in the best way, that is, to give in completely; have asked Stripey to procure a copy of Megami 93 for me (to save on the arm and a leg shipping costs from Japan to the UK).
And to think I had actually been entertaining the notion that Comp H had knocked Megami off its pedestal WRT my spending priorities but it looks like the goddesses in its pages have still got it: Evils I tell you.
Animedia and Newtype Sep 2007

I don't normally buy these two magazines because they just don't have Megami's evil pulling power (or increasingly Comp H's). Got them in exchange of gifts between friends, with me drawing from my ComiKet loot pile; really glad to get these magazines, some of the feature articles have lovely illustrations as well as some sweet goods.
Stocktaking ~ MEGAMI visual collections

This Lyrical Nanoha visual collection is one of the many treasures my good bro Zyl brought back for me from his holy pilgrimage. Discontinued on HLJ and unstocked in our local Kinokuniya (who'd charge a 40% premium for bringing it in anyway), this mook is a fantastic find to return with from the land of 9 yr old mahou shoujos. Very carefully and gently flipping through the visual collection, I'm reminded once again why I'm such a hardened believer of Gakken's visual collections.
Megami 88 and Nanoha StrikerS 19

Agree with Shinpon's review that this issue is bursting with goodness. My particular favourites are the Signum poster (oh so dashing!) and the Lucky Star banana boat. The pencil board was yummy but could have been more yurilicious. In particular, I really liked the addition of black for her inner shirt above her breasts for Nanoha's barrier jacket design, gives her a maturity to balance the sexiness of her thigh-highs [edit: Hey, what happened to her mini-skirt and thigh-highs!?] and the childishness of the rest of her getup. How official is this new design? Will Nanoha's barrier jacket be redone for the DVD version or is this for her final release mode?
In any case, this is a joint post because of the Fatenum suggestions in both Megami StrikerS comic and the StrikerS TV series.
Zaku raid on Akiba

...was what I would have liked to say about yesterday's expedition to the Holy Land. Instead it was more appropriate to describe it as Akiba raids Zaku wallet. I would orz but I also saw this marvellous sign in a basement shop with a big red circle around and line across OTL - orz is forbidden! Photography was also forbidden in most places; I had to sneak most of my shots from just outside the shops or in the corridors and stairways.
Comp H Vol.5

To be brutally honest, I bought this issue mainly for the Konata pencilboard. But that's ok as I really like this shitajiki. As Shingo pointed out in his review, none of the posters had the 'OMG must buy and hang' always on my mind level of Megami-type evilness but the Lucky Star content was enough to keep me satisfied.
