Mesousa meets Taeko, goddess of misfortune in training and gets a time bomb attached to his forehead. After punting him through the roof and across town, Media, Behoimi and Becky experiment on a hapless Serizawa on disarming this type of bomb. Mesousa wanders town trying to get help.

School cultural festival episode. Becky's class, led by Rei, are out to make a big profit. Although she complains about the additional work that a festival generates, Becky quickly immerses herself in the activities and she's in such a good mood that it soothes the class' disappointment at not being able to keep the money they made.

Ichijou in love! I was quite surprised at who her paramour was but then again this is PPD and it's Ichijou we're talking about.

The episode starts in the middle, jump to the front as well as cutting in scenes from 1-D but revolving around the central theme of the 1-C bus hanging over a cliff edge a la the Italian Job's cliffhanger finale. The scene transitions make use of freezing the closing scene as a page on a book and then flipping the page to the next scene.

The school cafeteria is closed as the cook is away on business (as is the headmaster... coincidence, I think not!). Becky has to find an alternative source for lunch. Hilarity and much Big Sisterly Rei behaviour ensues.

Becky is teaching remedial summer classes but some of the girls who passed join in the class anyway. Momotsuki Academy is then invaded by a motley crew of challengers who are led by a bullman, ninja girl and giant. Hilarity and much destruction of property ensues.

This episode centres on the theme of dreams. In the first half, Becky is confronted by the realization that she does not have a dream. In the second half, due to alien interference, the gang gets transported into Himeko's dream. It works quite well as the Japanese word for "dream" also has the dual connotations of the English word. There's also plenty of delicious cruelty among the girls as a result.

This episode focuses on my least favourite character of the 1-C Six, Good Girl Rokugo, but it was also useful in making her more interesting. It ties in her character development with the appearance of a vintage car in the Academy carpark. After Media reports that she saw Rokugo riding shotgun and talking intimately to the driver, the clique are overwhelmed with curiosity about No.6's possible romantic interest. Hilarity ensues.

Pani Poni Dash! 10

Main story concentrates on Behoimi and Media working together to defuse a large number of bombs that have suddenly appeared around Momotsuki Academy. Though neither character are my favourites, I liked the way the episode added interest by hinting at their shared history of military operations (possibly on opposing sides) as well as Behoimi's hostility which develops into an uneasy friendship with possible yuri overtones. The side story of 1-C's presentations of summer projects merge into the main story to bring Becky and gang in. Much suffering for Mesousa in the process. LOL.

Pani Poni Dash! 9

It's the summer holidays and Becky's former mentor, an archeology professor, summons her to his island dig. She's joined by the 1-C clique. Crazy stuff happens and an annoying meido/special forces/airhead type character but it turns out the prof just wanted to check on Rebecca. He's pleased that her students are helping her to be more social and that she hasn't turn into an evil criminal genius.
