2009 Moment of Anime: Melting into the Fandom of Miku Hatsune
Going the whole hog on CCY's call is a tall order for me, but I'd like to at least give it a stab.
AFA09 After Action Review: Seven Lessons from Photographing Danny Choo
The first person I photographed at the event, bright and early at 9am, none other than Danny Choo. Lesson One: Remove your lens cap.
AFA09 Highlight: Three Beautiful Ladies
I had not (yet) reached the level of Danny Choo's powers (if you saw his presentation and his quip about Stormtrooper being "popular with the ladies", you'll get it). AFA09 Day Two Reflections: K-ON! Live Dub/Q&A

AFA09 Day Two Highlight: Hibiki Reine

Seeing Hibiki-sensei at AFA09 Day One was a most pleasant surprise - I hadn't noticed this in the map/program sheet or on the website. She kindly signed an autograph towards the end of the first day but the main event was announced on this makeshift sign which indicated she would have an autograph session the next day (Sunday) from 1pm.
Zaku at AFA09

It's late, I'm tired. Like Alafista, my legs hurt like hell from standing the whole day. Just a few quick interim notes for now.
